“畸” often implies deformity, while “零” suggests absence. Yet encountering the fragmented “畸零地” reveals a dynamic network linking human and non-human communities. Using “畸零地景” as a metaphor, this project creates dialogue across groups and experiments with artistic practices rooted in mutual care and collaboration.
“To leave the island is to see the island.” In movement, “畸零” becomes a way of crossing not only geography but also the gaps between networks. 畸零地景藝術——遠行/歸途 interviews “畸零地工作室” and “海波浪seabelongings,” reflecting on how to recognize the value of incompleteness and seek possibilities within fissures. “畸零地景” gradually takes shape through movement, dialogue, and action.
