Dim Revelations by Torbjørn Rødland offers a rare and generous insight into the work of one of today’s most renowned lens-based artists. Like his photographic practice, this illustrated diary operates on multiple levels — internalizing a variety of genres and voices, including theory, aphorism, criticism, poetry, and the occasional spilling of tea.
Rødland has not kept a journal before or since 2013.

Objektiv Press
Objektiv Press was founded in 2009 and began as a biannual journal of lens based art. After ten years of exploring this format, Objektiv Press transitioned into a more book-like publication, where they let just one writer fill the pages with their real and raw opinions, writing about different trends within the medium. Since 2020, Objektiv Press has invited different people—photographers, critics, curators—to reflect on their relationship with photography through a longer essay.
Objektiv Press was founded and is run by Nina Strand. Ida Kierulf and Susanne Østby Sæther have been on the editorial board since the first issue. Brian Sholis and Lucas Blalock joined the board in 2016.
