I 2020 gjennomførte kunstnar Arild Våge Berge ei utsmykking av Sogn og Fjordane Tingrett og Jordskifterett i regi av Kunst i Offentleg Rom (KORO). Prosjektet gjekk ut på å samle ulike materialer frå natur, bedrifter, gardsbruk, institusjonar og private frå det gamle fylket Sogn og Fjordane. Materiala vart deretter nytta som bestanddelar i eit kunstverk som i dag står i foajéen til rettsbygninga i Førde. Publikasjonen er ei fotografisk og tekstleg skildring av reisene Berge foretok i fylket under innsamlingsarbeidet. Boka inneheld dokumentasjon av arkivet av gjenstandar Berge bygde opp i laupet av denne perioda. Disse gjenstandane danner også skulpturane som nå utsmykker Tingretten.

Topos bokforlag

TOPOS Publications is a publishing initiative created by artists Åsne Eldøy and Arild Våge Berge in 2017. Located in-between Bergen and Oslo, Norway.

The aim of Topos is to serve as a platform for publishing artist books by emerging artists and to convey a diversity of artistic practices through the book format.

Topos is a greek word that means place. As a publisher we want to mobilize concepts of place through the book format. We believe that artist books have a potential to enter a discourse of place in a time when it is becoming more than a location on a map or in a landscape, but rather a term linked with identity, form and presence.

The artists perspectives might then be understood as a place in itself or the artist book as a place or medium for artistic ideas or concepts.
