That Which One Breathes is book no. 2 in The Teeny tiny series. In the same way as The Reality and the Stories goes That Which One Breathes into the essence of the About Something books. At the same time, That Which One Breathes could not exist without the book About Breath (2013). About Breath is the foundation of the About Something series and has an impact on many of Kurt Johannessen’s works.

Kurt Johannessen (f. 1960) gav ut sin fyrste artist’s book i 1984. I 1999 oppretta han sitt eige forlag, Zeth Forlag, som alle bøkene kjem ut på. Mange av hans bøker er tekstrelaterte, men nokre er laga med utgangspunkt i teikningar eller foto. Tekstarbeida er ofte fortellingar på ei setning. Dei er visuelle, poetiske, og til tider humoristiske. I 2013 starta han bokserien Om-noko. Det vart 19 bøker i serien og mange av dei var grunnlag for ulike performanceforedrag. Desse bøkene ligg i kryssingspunktet mellom filosofi/bildekunst/poesi/
